Dr Ben Shafar

Born in Prestwich, Ben graduated from Birmingham University in 2003 and has worked as a GP with Bury’s Unsworth Medical Centre since 2010.

He is passionate about healthcare that is open, honest, fair, equitable and promotes positive, proactive health changes for patients.

Ben’s special interests are minor surgery, dermatology, dementia, diabetes and respiratory health. He is also mentor for medical students at the practice.
